Financial Warrants

In layman’s terms, Financial Warrants are the way Weld County pays our bills.

Chapter 5, Article V, Section 5-5-200 of Weld County Code says, “The Department of Accounting processes warrants twice per week for Commissioner approval at regular Board meetings on Monday and Wednesday of each week. Warrants are distributed to departments or mailed after Board approval.”

These financial warrants indicate county spending in detail.
